It was IMO too expensive @ $13900.00 but it is in superb condition on the outside(dealer was closed couldn't see the inside). I know these cars are rare but are they $13900 rare? Our fellow !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! just bought one(in need of alot of work tho) for $1500 bucks.

One of these in mint condition can totally be worth up to 15 grand. Barrett Jackson sold one for 75 grand recently iirc.

Wanna know the difference? ...the $13,900 is a perfectly restored, totally functional classic car that can be a perfect daily driver ...just supposed you can stomach its wheels. On the contrary, the $1,500 is just a non-functional, classic wreck that could only be good as a hen house. There.

Good condition 1800 shooting brakes are not cheap at all, nor are they in plentiful supply. Occasionally you'll run into someone who didn't do any research, don't know what it is they have, and price accordingly. But don't count on that being the norm.

It depends on how you look at it. If you took MIATAAA's $1500 one it would take $13k for it to look as nice as this one. You can find cheaper ones in between these 2 examples, but they will be driver quality cars. Which isn't a bad thing.

What kind of new car would you get for 13,900 and what would it be worth in five years time? On that basis it seems worth it.
